2023 Summerset Nationals

Tony Grantham and Gary Lawson swooped through to Pairs Champions beating composite team Raymond Martin and William Bennett 19-8 in Orewa.

Gary Lawson made it through to the semi-finals only to be beaten by Shannon McIlroy playing for Stoke down 13-21.

A battle for the singles final resulted with Sheldon Bagrie-Howley from Gore taking the win of the 2023 Summerset National Men’s Singles, defeating reigning world singles champion Shannon McIlroy two-time National singles winner.

Clare Hendra and Tayla Bruce won national Women’s pairs’ champions with Selina Goddard taking Women’s singles champion beating her commonwealth team mate Tayla Bruce.

New Zealand para combination Graham Skellern and Bruce Wakefield won the open disability pairs honour, defeating Steve Delaney and Jonathan Radka, 18-11. Darron Wolland is now Open Disability singles champion.
