Presidents Day 2025

Presidents Day is held every year to thank the volunteers who invest their time and efforts leading the Auckland Regional Bowling clubs. This year it was held yesterday (28th Sept) at Kohi and started with the Bowls Auckland SGM to vote in their new constitution. Rang & Izania attended the SGM on behalf of MABC. The Bowls Auckland constitution was passed unanimously.

Glyn & Ang then joined for 4x Games of 55mins each with a BBQ lunch in between. All players took turns at each position, and turns out everyone played better as Skip! Not a bad result with two games won, the last against the umpires with some great shots delivered by the whole team amongst lots of fun.

Our Patron Tony Pickering joined us to support the crew, all in all a great day out that ended up back at the club to see Doc visiting from down south, always good to see our mate back in town!
